Groot Winterhoek Overnight
A long overdue overnight hike with two of my close mates.
We have spent many years talking about it and planning an 'epic' location for an overnight hike. However for a long time this process yielded little results. Possibly we were setting the benchmark too high and just never getting off the mark. So one day we agreed to go for a relatively easy to access hike close to Cape Town.
We settled on Groot Winterhoek as we knew the area from many weekends at nearby Beaverlac and it was not too long of a drive from Cape Town.
